Metheringham railway station
Metheringham railway station serves the village of Metheringham in Lincolnshire, England. It is owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway, which provides all its rail services.

History
The station opened to passengers on 1 July 1882 as Blankney and Metheringham. It closed to them on 11 September 1961 but reopened on 6 October 1975 as Metheringham.[1] It was being refurbished in 2019. The signal box at the south end of the station is labelled "Blankney". It operates the level crossing on the B1189 road.[2]

Services
The station is unstaffed, with limited facilities: two shelters, bicycle storage, timetables and modern "Help Points". The full range of tickets for travel can be bought from the inspector on the train at no extra cost. There are no retail facilities at the station.
There is a basic hourly, Monday-to-Saturday service calling in each direction between Lincoln Central and Sleaford. In the daytime, southbound trains continue to Peterborough and a few northbound trains continue to Doncaster.[3]
There is no Sunday service.
