Platforms and services
Macedon has two side island platforms. It is serviced by V/Line Bendigo line services.[2] In the morning, trains to Melbourne depart from Platform 2, and trains to Bendigo depart from Platform 1, this reverses in the afternoon. This is to allow services in the peak direction of travel to use the single 160 km/h track that was upgraded in 2006 as part of the Regional Fast Rail project. In March 2014 the platforms were extended to accommodate longer trains.[3]
Platform 1:
- Bendigo line: services to Kyneton, Bendigo & Southern Cross
Platform 2:
- Bendigo line: services to Kyneton, Bendigo & Southern Cross

gollark: Although technically we apply it to all memory and disk accesses using very, very smart pattern matching.
gollark: It's called a Ken Thompson attack.
gollark: During compilation, the comma-stored copies recopy themselves into antimemes.
gollark: It's always good to have redundancy!
