History

Luciano Brunelli was founded in 1928 by Luciano Brunelli as a tailor shop for Italian tailor made suits in Como, Italy.[3] The company is currently headquartered in London and it operates as a manufacturer and retailer of Italian men suits.[4]

In 2012, Mohamed Zekeria Boumanjal the current CEO of Luciano Brunelli acquired the company and changed the name to Brunelli Textile International Holding.[5]

Brunelli suits are licensed by Scabal. They have the same fabric that was used in the classics “The Godfather” and Casino by Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro respectively.[6]

Scabal also hired Salvador Dalí, and commissioned him to draw 12 paintings in which the genius artist expressed what sartorial menswear could be in the year 2000.[7] The paintings turned out to be an inspiration for the Brunelli brand and continue to stimulate innovations in the manufacturing process even today.[8]
