List of breweries in Wyoming

The following is a list of Wyoming-based breweries. As of August 2014, Wyoming had 22 active microbreweries.[2] In 2011–2012, craft beer production in Wyoming increased over 32%.[3] In April 2014, The Wyoming Craft Brewers Guild was established by various Wyoming brewers.[4]

Grand Teton Brewing Company [2] Wilson [16] Founded in 1988 in Wilson, Wyoming under the name Otto Brothers’ Brewing Company, it was "the first modern “micro” brewery in the state of Wyoming".[16][17] In 1998 it relocated to Victor, Idaho.[16][17][18] The modern glass growler was first introduced by Charlie and Ernie Otto of Otto Brother's Brewing Company in 1989.[16][19]

Brewery Location Description
Sweetwater Brewery Green River Built in 1900 and presently listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, it was the first brewery in Wyoming.[1] Beer was last brewed there in 1936.[1]
