Kushtia Sadar Upazila
Kushtia Sadar (Bengali: কুষ্ঠিয়া সদর) is an Upazila of Kushtia District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.[1]

Demographics
According to 2011 Bangladesh census, Kushtia Sadar had a population of 502,255. Males constituted 50.47% of the population and females 49.53. Muslims formed 95.900% of the population, Hindus 3.873%, Christians 0.028% and others 0.198%. Kushtia Sadar had a literacy rate of 53.9% for the population 7 years and above.[2]
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Kushtia Sadar has a population of 368,774. Males constitute 51.77% of the population, and females 48.23%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 194,778. Kushtia Sadar has an average literacy rate of 33.7% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[3]
Arts and culture
International artists have come together at Smaran Matshya Beej Khamar to participate in the annual CRACK International Art Camp since 2007.[4]
