The series was launched on Zee TV on 25 March 2020 as a substitute to the Zee TV shows whose broadcast had to be stopped by the channel due to COVID-19 pandemic.[5]

Plot

Season 1

The story revolves around a caring wife named Poonam (Gurdeep Kohli), her husband Rohit Mehra (Ronit Roy) who is a chartered accountant and an interior designer named Ananya Sharma (Mona Singh). Poonam and Rohit have two loving daughters named Bani (Pooja Banerjee) and Nikki (Palak Jain). On the outside, it looks a happy family, but behind the curtains of reality lies the actual truth. Rohit is in love with Ananya and when the secret finally comes out, it shocks everyone involved. Rohit's family start hating Ananya. Rohit decides to divorce his 1st wife and marry Ananya. After a lot of argument and fight both (Rohit and Ananya) get married and divorced his 1st wife. Everyone is very unhappy.

After few happy days Rohit's daughter Bani feels depression because she is not happy with her married life. Rohit goes back to his family to support her daughter from stress and depression. Seeing all this situation Ananya feels insecure and they have everyday fights. She thought that Rohit is still connected with his family, his wife and daughters are his fist priority and she is nothing in his life. In depression and tension she wrote a letter for rohit and leave the house.

Season 2

Rohit after reading the letter is so much upset and though how can she do this with me? I left everything for her and what has he done? He then tries to find where she is. Finally he found out where she is. He goes there to take her back. After so many tries, he take her back to India from Dubai. Now they are having a good life. Every thing is getting normal. Rohit's first wife Poonam starts dating with a young boy Abhimanyu (Sayush Sanjay Nayyar).

On the other hand, Bani feels she never loveed her husband and wants divorce. Ananya is now pregnant. Rohit is going through some financial crises but did not tell Ananya. One day Poonam tells all these to Ananya and she is shocked that why did not he tell me? because of this they had a fight. Poonam is also very upset one day and comes to Rohit. They have a night together. Poonam sys Rohit not to tell this to your wife she will be upset.

One day in a party, whole family and friends are invited. Ananya was thinking Poonam spent the night with the guy she is dating. But at the end of the party she comes to know the truth. Rohit want to explain but she don't want to listen anything. She says "One a cheater is always a cheater" and leaves him again.

Season 3 (Final)

After 4 years. Ananya Has a 3 year old baby boy Kabir. She is living in Qatar. On the other hand, Rohit is now a drunk man always hanging out with girls. He destroy his life completely.

One day Ananya comes to know that she has to sale her company in India which she had given to Bani (Rohit and Poonam's daughter). She then come back to India. Bani tell her it's her mistake that Ananya gave her this responsibility when she was going through some bad days so she can divert her mind. Bani apologizes for her mistake. Ananaya says relax and we will fix it together. Ananya meets everyone. They also meet Rohit and had a fight. She then decided to get divorce from him. But he is not ready for it.

One day Rohit come to met his son but Ananya doesn't allow to met him. A girl Rohit is dating for 2-3 years want to marry him. Rohit and Poonam's younger daughter Nikki wants to marry a guy. Everyone is busy in the preparation and arrangement of marriage. On the day of nikki marriage function police come to arrest Rohit because a women filed a report of kidnapping her daughter (whom he is dating). Everyone try but police is not ready to free him. On the day of Nikki's marriage, Rohit tells in front of his family that he married that girl. Everyone is so much shocked. Ananya fell very sad and want to leave.

Next morningz a woman come to arrest Rohit again. She tells her daughter you can't get married with Rohit because he is your sister's husband. That woman is Ananya's mother who left her in a foster home when she was a baby. Her mother give a huge amount for her expense but never met her. Ananya lived her life alone without parents and siblings that's why she is very much broken. The girl in front of everyone accepts that Rohit helped me in this matter because he loves Ananya so much. She tell everything and leaves.

Ananya misses the flight and decide to live in India with family. She come to meet Rohit with her son Kabir. He apologizes for everything and want another chance but she said "I don't want my husband back".

Finally they get divorced. After divorce, Rohit come to met her. In flashback ("I don't want my husband, I want you Rohit when we have great loving memories").
