KDFQ-LP

KDFQ-LP channel 47 is the Azteca America affiliate for Prescott, Arizona. It was owned by Northstar Media, LLC, and is now owned by HC2 Holdings. It was once been on channel 24 as opposed to channel 47. The switch to ATSC broadcasting prompted a channel move, as KTVK in Phoenix began using channel 24. K24EP/KDFQ-LP was displaced for several years and commenced transmissions on channel 47 in December 2006. It is moving to digital channel 27 soon. The station is currently silent.[1]
