Jack Gurr

Jack William Gurr (born 26 November 1995) is an English footballer who plays for Atlanta United 2 in the USL Championship.

Career

Youth, college and semi-professional

Gurr spent time with the academy team at Gateshead, before moving to the United States in 2014 to play college soccer at Georgia Gwinnett College.[1] He played four years for the Grizzlies, making 71 appearances and scoring 14 goals, earning first All-Association of Independent Institutions team honours during his junior and senior seasons.[2]

Following college, Gurr played two seasons with NPSL team Georgia Revolution in 2018[3] and 2019.[4]

Professional

On 5 December 2019, it was announced that Gurr would join USL Championship side Atlanta United 2 ahead of their 2020 season.[5] He made his professional debut on 8 March 2020, starting in a 1–0 loss to Charleston Battery.[6]

gollark: I think my use cases are nice usecases, and I think it has flaws even in the domains it seems to be targeted at.
gollark: I think it should at least not, essentially, deliberately cripple itself at some classes of thing.
gollark: I'm not sure exactly what they're targeting - maybe trendy cloud™-type tools, simple webservers, etc - but even *in* that domain it just seems bad to me.
