Ikechi Nwosu
Ikechi Nwachukwu Nwosu was an Anglican bishop[1] in Nigeria:[2] he was Bishop of Umahia, one of nine dioceses[3] within the Anglican Province of Aba,[4] itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria:[5] He retired in 2019, having been bishop for sixteen years.[6]
Nwosu was born in Ihiagwa on 24 November 1949. He was educated at Trinity Theological College, Umuahia and the University of Nigeria. He was ordained in 1978.[7] [8] He became a Canon in 1987; and an Archdeacon in 1994.
