ISO 22319

ISO 22319:2017 Security and resilience - Community resilience - Guidelines for planning the involvement of spontaneous volunteers, is an international standard developed by ISO/TC 292 Security and resilience and published by the International Organization for Standardization in 2017. ISO 22317 gives various of recommendations on how to deal with spontaneous volunteers (SVs) that show up at the incident scene to help the official emergency management team. Spontaneous volunteers may be an asset for dealing with the incident response, but at the same time, they will require resources from the emergency management team. ISO 22319 has been developed so that organizations can plan in advance how spontaneous volunteers can be involved in the work [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6].
