Predecessor

The N-One was introduced in 2012 as a newer addition to Honda's kei car lineup in Japan. It features styling reminiscent of the 1969–1972 N360 and incorporates Honda's DOHC three-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission, which was launched in 2011 with the N-Box. It is marketed as a premium vehicle and incorporates standard features uncommon for its class. In 2020 Honda announced that they were going to unveil a second generation of the N-One on their Japanese website.
