The first Studio School to open in Inner London, it offers a new and different style of mainstream education.[1] It was formally opened by the Duke of York in December 2012.[2]

It is open to both boys and girls aged 14–19.

At age 14, FES accepts into Year 10 girls and boys of all abilities from either Fulham College Boys’ School or Fulham Cross Girls School. The sixth form will accept applications from young people attending any school, with priority given to students attending Fulham College Boys’ School and Fulham Cross Girls’ School.

Facilities

Out of classroom learning is a key feature of the Studio School way of learning. FES shares some facilities with FCBS including specialist science and design and technology blocks, a multi-use Astroturf sports pitch and gym on site and a fully equipped performing arts centre.[3]

Curriculum

FES gives students the opportunity to study the core National Curriculum alongside project based learning and work placements, leading to GCSEs, BTECS; and NVQs, AS and A levels (Sixth Form only).[4]
