Falsez pentru tine

Falsez pentru tine (transl. I sing off key for you) is a television mystery music game show broadcast by ProTV. It is the Romanian version of I Can See Your Voice.[1]

Production

Development

ProTV was first announced the development of the series in October 2018. The show's staff is commissioned by executive producer Dan Alexandrescu; joined by producer Dana Mladin.[3]

Gameplay

Format

The guest artist(s) must attempt to guess SEE-cret songers who are "good" and "bad" without hearing them sing. SEE-cret songers must partake on every round, at which they can receive help and advice from the SING-vestigators.

After eliminating one to two SEE-cret songers in each round, they would perform using real voice at the stage of truth. The last SEE-cret songer standing will do duet-perform by guest artist(s).

Rewards

The winning good singer(s) receives a digital single release from HaHaHa Production, while the winning bad singer(s) gets 10,000 lei.[4]

Rounds

There were eight individuals of SEE-cret songers standing on the platform to keep their identities concealed until its initial performance.

Singer's visual
  • Stay on the picture (Romanian: Rămâi tablou)
The guest artist(s) have time to observe and examine each SEE-cret songer based on their appearance.[RO 1]
  • Eyes and ears (Romanian: Ochi și urechi)
A muted video of each SEE-cret songer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice is played as an additional hint.[RO 1]
Singer's evidence
  • You tell stories or you play the trombone (Romanian: Povestești sau trombonești)
    • Each SEE-cret songer introduces and tells its stories but in a distorted voice.[RO 1]
    • During this, a proof of each SEE-cret songer's singing ability (i.e. photo, video, certificates, etc) is shown on the screen. Good singers have their own evidences while bad singers had their evidences fabricated.[RO 1]
Singer's lip-sync
  • Playback on the face (Romanian: Playback pe față)
Every SEE-cret songer performs a lip-sync of a song. Good singers lip-sync to their own voice, while bad singers lip-sync to other's voices.[RO 1]
Singer's verdict
  • Out of breath (Romanian: Pe nerăsuflate)
The guest artist(s) must have then 100 seconds to make an interview with the remaining SEE-cret songers before making the final decision, at which point is depending on every SING-vestigators' opinion and/or an audience's majority voting.[RO 1]
The guest artist(s) would have to select one of two remaining SEE-cret songers to duet with to declare a winner.[RO 1]
