It was inaugurated on February 14, 1992 as Smile Radio, with a masa format. On June 1, 1996, it launched its first ever AM on FM format. In 2017, DWNX opened a relay station at 1611 kHz. There were plans for DWNX to transfer its broadcast to AM, with its FM to become iFM. However, due to consistent success of the station, the plan was shelved.

gollark: I mean, you don't need *cryptographic* hashes for that, your simple solution should be okay.
gollark: Or just use actual hashing?
gollark: (if each receiver gets all the messages, it'll have to try and decrypt all of them)
gollark: Well, if you like, stick them on the same channel. I don't think it matters much for anything but making receivers do marginally less work (trying to) decrypt all the messages.
gollark: Is that relevant?
