Carbost, Loch Harport
Carbost (Scottish Gaelic: Carabost) is a village on the south shore of Loch Harport in the civil parish of Bracadale on the Isle of Skye in the Highlands of Scotland and is in the council area of Highland.[1] Carbost becomes a tourist hub in summer months due to the presence of the Talisker Distillery which is also one of the main employers in village along with the local pub, The Old Inn and the award-winning local emporium. Carbost lies around 2 1⁄2 miles (4 kilometres) from Portnalong.
