Caio Bonfim

Caio Oliveira de Sena Bonfim (born 19 March 1991)[1] is a Brazilian racewalker.[2][3] His mother, Gianetti Bonfim, was also an international racewalker for Brazil.[4]

He competed in the 20 km walk at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he placed 39th.[5]

At the 2015 Pan American Games, he won a bronze medal in the Men's 20 kilometres walk with a time of 1:24:43.

At the 2015 IAAF World Championships, he finished 6th with a time of 1:20:44.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Bonfim did a great participation. In the Men's 20 kilometres walk, he finished 4th with a time of 1:19:42, Brazilian record, just 5 seconds behind the Bronze medalist. In the Men's 50 kilometres walk, he finished 9th, again breaking the Brazilian record with a time of 3:47:02.
