History
The station received CRTC approval on December 19, 2003 and was launched in 2005 as 101.1 The Fox originally with a classic hits format.[1]
In late 2010 or early 2011, the station flipped to a hot adult contemporary format as The One @ 101.1. In July 2017, the station adopted the Boom FM brand and became "Boom 101.1".
