Bhore (Vidhan Sabha constituency)
Bhore (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: भोरे विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Gopalganj district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is reserved for scheduled castes.

History
It is believed that Bhore is named on the name of a King Bhurishrava (Hindi: भूरिश्रवा) who reigned on this land in Dvapara Yuga (The Age of Krishna). He fought in the great Kurukshetr War in support of Kaurava. He got boon of a magical Elephant which could travel from Bhore to Kurukshetr within one day.

2015-Now
In the 2015 state assembly elections, Anil Kumar of INC defeated seating MLA Indradeo Majhi.
1977-2010
In the 2010 state assembly elections, Indradeo Majhi of BJP won the Bhore assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Bachchan Das of RJD.[2] Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned. Anil Kumar of RJD defeated Indradeo Majhi of BJP in October 2005, and Surendra Ram of LJP in February 2005. Acharya Vishwanath Baitha of BJP defeated Alagu Ram of RJD in 2000. Indradeo Majhi of JD defeated Acharya Viswanath Baitha of BJP in 1995 and Anil Kumar, Independent, in 1990. Anil Kumar representing Congress defeated Indradeo Majhi, Independent, in 1985. Alagu Ram of Congress defeated Surendra Ram of Janata Party (JP) in 1980. Jamuna Ram of JP defeated Alagu Ram of Congress in 1977.[3]
