These ancient freshwater arthropods, related to modern horseshoe crabs, lived from the Devonian period (from 409.1 to 402.5 Ma) [1] to the Carboniferous period.
Bellinurus species could reach a length of about 37 millimetres (1.5 in).
Distribution
Fossils of species within this genus have been found in the Cretaceous sediments of England and in the Devonian of Russia.[1]
gollark: I'll golf it if someone actually makes a smaller competitor.
gollark: ```python if char == "i": h, g = list(range(pos + 1, l)), list(range(pos - 1, 0, -1)) for i in h + g if incr == 1 else g + h: if code[i] == "i": pos = (i + 1) % l break continue```
gollark: Mine passes all test cases but the test cases are bad.
gollark: I think it *could* be TC maybe possibly, since it has... loops, branching and (in my implementation at least) an arbitrarily large accumulator.
gollark: Like my python script(s).
