Bekwai Municipal Assembly
The Bekwai Municipal Assembly, formerly the Amansie East District is one of the twenty-seven (27) districts in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Its capital is Bekwai. In 2003, part of the district was split off to form the new Amansie Central District.
