Atwima Nwabiagya District
The Atwima Nwabiagya District formerly the Atwima District is one of the twenty-seven (27) districts in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Its capital is Nkawie. In 2003, part of the district was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor on November 12, 2003, to form the new Atwima Kwanwoma District and Atwima Mponua District.
