Barwar is a town and a nagar panchayat in Lakhimpur Kheri district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a crowded town situated near the shahjahanpur. The Gomti river flows through the town. Nowadays Mrs. Nasreen Bano is the chairperson of Barwar. Mr. Sanjay Sharma was last chairperson of the town. There are Allahabad bank and DCB bank. There is a market in the town and 2 temples. The town is divided into 11 wards. And Very Famous Maa Durga

(Barwar Wali Maiyya) Tample situated at here And Sankat Mochan Tample and more Divine Pilgrimage also Situated at here.

Sumit Srivastava is also lived in Barwar Kheri (Project officer). In Swachch Bharat Mission. And Mr. Ali Shabaz leader of samajwadi party also live in this town.Dheeraj.Sinha ,lecturer lives in Subhash Nagar.
