Baramita
Baramita, is a community in the Barima-Waini region of northern Guyana, claimed by Venezuela as part of Delta Amacuro state, which is located in the Guayana Esequiba, standing about 20 miles west of Matthew's Ridge, at an altitude of 99 metres (328 feet).

The population of Baramita is roughly 1,700. It is one of the largest Amerindian settlements in the country. As of 2005, Baramita can be easily reached only by air, but a road is planned to link it with Matthew's Ridge.
