Bagong Pagsilang
Bagong Lipunan or Bagong Pagsilang (transl. New Society; New Birth), also known as the March of the New Society (Filipino: Martsa ng Bagong Lipunan), was a Filipino patriotic song during the presidency of Ferdinand Marcos. The lyrics were written by Levi Celerio and the music was composed by Felipe Padilla de León in 1973.[1][2][3][4] The anthem is not to be confused with Awit sa Paglikha ng Bagong Lipunan (Hymn to the Creation of a New Society), which is also known as the Hymn of the New Society (Filipino: Awit ng Bagong Lipunan) and was based on Awit sa Paglikha ng Bagong Pilipinas.[5]
