Awei (Vanuatu)

Awei (also Île Ui, Îlot Awé ) is a small uninhabited island in Malampa Province of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean. It is a part of the Maskelyne Islands archipelago.[1][2]

Geography

Awei lies some 400 meters off the south coast of Malekula Island. The neighboring island is Vulai. The estimated terrain elevation above sea level is just 1 meter.[3] The island area is some 40 hectares.[4]

gollark: Most of my greek typing is just one character in the middle of other stuff, so it would not be very useful to me to learn other layouts and set them up.
gollark: If only people (including me...) actually knew IPA so we could avoid messing with "thee-tah" and other ambiguous ways to say how to pronounce things.
