History

It was established and started transmissions on March 20, 1997 as Thriasio TV. In March 2009 it took its current name. It is the primary channel of the Municipality of Aspropyrgos. Since July 2010 the station is broadcasting digitally via the Digea digital provider. Since mid-2012 it broadcasts programs from the Eastern Orthodox religious channel 4E TV of Thessaloniki. Employees of the station went to work retention on March 1, 2012 because they were unpaid for nine months.

Program

The program of the station includes documentaries from Greek sites and excerpts from the University of Aspropyrgos. Emissions also emerge from the 4E TV. However, the station's program usually does not include live its own productions or newscast, thus it is sometimes classified as "phantom channel".

Since August 2013 the informative network of United States Democracy Now! Is displayed in the station.

Technical problems

Previously, the station had a low image quality and sometimes noise was appearing on the screen and the sound signal was weak. Later the problem was improved. It was originally channel 47 and it used to accept interference from the Mega Channel and after the channel was channel 63 it used to accept interference from the Alpha TV too.

gollark: It's running on a device which is *so much better than this* and yet it has moderately suboptimal button stuff designed for physical devices, and *pixelated display stuff*.
gollark: How moderately beeoidal.
gollark: PotatOS incorporates a prime factorization program which can handle numbers up to 2^40, which isn't very big but it runs on floats.
gollark: UTTERLY miller-rabin yourself?
gollark: Probably. You'd need an ARM emulator, so it would be slow.
