Alice Naylor-Leyland (née Dawson)[1][2] is an English socialite, brand collaborator, writer and business owner.

Early life
Naylor-Leyland is the daughter of Paul Dawson and Serena Fresson,[1] Naylor-Leyland grew up in London and went to Garden House Day School. She was raised by her single mother,[3] who was from Australia. As a teenager she went to a boarding school near Ascot. Her mother later married and Naylor-Leyland took up residence in her stepfather's London hotel, 11 Cadogan Gardens.[4][5] She frequently traveled to New York City in her youth.[6]
Career
Naylor-Leyland runs her own blog, Mrs.Alice, focusing on fashion, lifestyle, and motherhood.[7] Her Instagram has over 110,000 followers.[8] She is a contributing editor for American Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, writing articles on fashion, travel and lifestyle.[9][10][11][12][13] In 2017 Naylor-Leyland partnered with Aerin Lauder to create a limited edition perfume called Garden Rose Eau de Cologne, inspired by Naylor-Leyland's rose garden.[14][15][16][17] She has designed two shoe collections for the company French Sole.[18][19][20]
She also works as a brand collaborator with fashion brands like Tory Burch and Smythson.[21][22]
Her interior design has been featured in Architectural Digest.[23][24]
In November 2019 Alice launched her own housewares brand. [25][26][27]
Personal life
She met her husband, Thomas Philip Naylor-Leyland, who is the son and heir of Sir Philip Naylor-Leyland, 4th Baronet, through their mutual friend Francis Richard Charteris, Lord Elcho, the son of James Charteris, 13th Earl of Wemyss, when she was seventeen years old at a party in Gloucestershire .[5][28] They have three children; Billy, Nancy, and Felix.[5][29] Her husband is the heir to his father's title of Naylor-Leyland baronet and of his estates, Nantclwyd Hall and Milton Hall.[30] The couple currently resides in Cambridgeshire, and in a flat in Chelsea, London.[31] Naylor-Leyland renovated and restored the historic mansion which she and her husband purchased shortly after their wedding.[24] She is close friends with other high-profile socialites including Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Palermo, Lady Alice Manners, Lady Violet Manners, Lady Mary Charteris, Sabine Getty, Emma Thynn, Viscountess Weymouth, and Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis.[32][14]
