Algeria–Australia relations

Algerian–Australian relations refers to bilateral relations between Algeria and Australia. Two countries established diplomatic relations upon the independence of Algeria in 1962.

Algeria has an embassy in Canberra while Australia has a non resident ambassador in Paris, France. Prior to 1991, Australia had a resident embassy and ambassador in the capital since 1976, Algiers, which closed due to budget reasons.
