In July 2014, the Brangle family, which owns the town, announced that it was for sale: included in the $1.5 million price are the general store, a bar, the family's four-bedroom home and the town's trailer park (excluding the trailers).[1] After the town failed to sell at the asking price, Rick Brangle decided to sell the town at auction.[5] The auction took place June 2, 2017,[6] After the town sold at auction the deal had fallen through. In June 2019 the town sold to Trent Tope. Trent has added bathrooms and a 26 ft bar.[7]
