ARA F.C.
ARA FC is a Semi-Professional football club based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat which plays in I-League 2nd Division. They were nominated for I-League 2nd Division for the first time in the history and were selected as one of the 18 teams to play in 2018-19 I-League 2nd Division. It not only marked their first appearance in I-League 2nd Division but also Gujarat's first football club to play in I-League 2nd Division[2]

History
On 19 July 2018 their academy were accredited and were given two stars based on their eligibility criteria which allowed them to play in Youth League U18.[4] On 20 November 2018 they were nominated for I-League 2nd Division by AIFF.[5] On 7 December it was announced that ARA F.C. along with 13 other teams will participate in 2018-19 I-League 2nd Division which will make them the first football club from Gujarat to play in I-League 2nd Division.
