2021 Sheffield City Council election

The 2021 Sheffield City Council election is scheduled to take place on 6 May 2021 to elect members of Sheffield City Council in England. The election was originally due to take place on 7 May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] One seat from each ward will be up for election.

  1. Julie Dore is the incumbent leader of the Labour group on Sheffield City Council. She announced her intention to resign and step down as a councillor for the planned 2020 elections. Given the election's postponement, it is not known whether she still intends to resign.
