The 2019 season is UKM F.C.'s 2nd season in club history since promoted from the Malaysia FAM League in 2017 season.[1][2][3] The club is participating in the FA Cup.

Malaysia FA Cup

As one of the 21 teams in the Super League and Premier League, UKM FC entered the FA Cup in the Second Round. The draw was made on 4 March 2019 and paired UKM with Protap FC, champions of 2018 Shah Alam M5 League. UKM won the match 5–1; as Milad Zeneyedpour opened the scoring inside the penalty box. Mateo Roskam added the second goal before half time, before Hariz Saim from PROTAP enclosed the gap. Zeneyedpour grabbed another goal before Roskam completed his hattrick. This is the first ever winning for UKM FC in their FA Cup history since their first participant in 2016. Before this, UKM never wins any match (2 draws, 3 loses) and this match also their first match to score at least two goals.

On the third round, UKM faced the holders, Pahang at Cheras. UKM played well and defending their goal until a miscommunication between Khatul and Tudose gave Pahang lead on 84 minutes; thanks to Pahang captain, Matthew Davies. UKM lost 1-0 and this is their third times in 4 years they eliminated with 1–0 result.
