2017–18 Super League Greece
The 2017–18 Super League Greece, or Souroti Super League for sponsorship reasons,[2] was the 82nd season of the highest tier in league of Greek football and the 12th under its current name. The season started on August 2017 and ended in May 2018. The league comprises fourteen teams from the 2016–17 season and two promoted from the 2016–17 Football League.

On 12 March 2018, the Super League Greece was suspended by Greek government until further notice after the president of PAOK, Ivan Savvidis, stormed onto the field with a revolver during the match between PAOK and AEK Athens on 11 March 2018. [3] The suspension was removed on 27 March. PAOK was deducted 3 pts and AEK was awarded 3 pts for the incident
Contrary to the previous seasons, the playoffs for the Champions League and Europa League spots have been removed with qualification based solely on finishing position.[4]
Teams
Two teams were relegated from the 2016–17 season. Iraklis and Veria will play in Football League for the 2017–18 season.
Two teams were promoted from the 2016–17 Football League, Apollon Smyrnis and Lamia, the latter for which it will be their debut season in the highest division of Greek football.

Notes:
- PAOK were deducted 3 points by court decision.
- Olympiakos were deducted 3 points due to fan behavior against AEK on 4 February 2018.
- Panathinaikos were deducted 2 points due to fan behavior against PAOK on play-offs match in 2016–17 season.[42]
Panathinaikos were deducted 3 points for financial reasons on 11 April 2018. On 23 April 2018 another 3 points were deducted for the same occasion.[43][44]
