2016 São Paulo mayoral election
The municipal election of the Brazilian city of São Paulo took place on 2 October 2016[2] to elected a Mayor, a Vice Mayor, and 55 Aldermen for the administration of the city. The incumbent Mayor was Fernando Haddad of the Workers' Party (PT), who ran for reelection. The movements before the campaign happened in a context of politic crisis involving an impeachment request during the second term of former president Dilma Rousseff, of the Workers' Party (PT).[3]

gollark: It isn't that big. You can just rent colocation and buy a few servers.
gollark: There are less popular providers which are *also* pretty costly though.
