- İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor appears as İstanbul Başakşehir in TFF reports. This is because İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Sports Club separated its football section and renamed it İstanbul Başakşehir Football Club before the start of 2014–15 football season. When a team changed its name its name in pages for previous seasons also changed. Therefore all the team names except those appear in weekly game results changed as İstanbul Başakşehir. See TFF club page and seasonal league pages on tff.org.tr.
- See Cem Pekin Archives for full league tables, and promotions and relegations at 2000-01 Türkiye 2. Ligi. Although classification group games should have been accumulated on ranking group data in the league tables, in TFF pages classification group tables are shown as unaccumulated. See Classification Group 1 page at TFF website. Maçkolik site makes the same mistake: See maçkolik 2001–02 Second League Classification Group 1 page. Final standings are seen correctly in former source. On the other hand, this source does not supply round-by-round league table. Therefore place after rounds columns are empty. As of 10 June 2015.
- Places in league table by rounds were obtained from Milliyet online archive through an advanced search (note: free membership is required to search). (in Turkish). Searched on 10 June 2015.
