1986 Quebec municipal elections

Several municipalities in the Canadian province of Quebec held mayoral and council elections on November 9, 1986. The most closely watched contest was in Montreal, where Jean Doré was elected to his first term as mayor.

Cowansville

Jacques Charbonneau was elected to his first term as mayor.[1] Future mayor Arthur Fauteux was elected to his first term on council.[2]

Longueuil

gollark: I don't agree. "People" in aggregate can, but you aren't that.

gollark: It's silly to blame people for "not doing anything" to attempt to change things when they cannot, in fact, actually do much, and you're missing the point linking lists of revolutions and such (besides, how many actually went *well*?).
