Notes
- Hammarby IF (2nd team in Allsvenskan) qualified for the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup 1983–84 as runners-up (after IFK Göteborg) of Svenska Cupen 1982–83 and thus IF Elfsborg and Malmö FF were awarded the UEFA Cup spots.
