1980 Wimbledon Championships – Men's Singles

Björn Borg was the four-time defending champion and successfully defended his title, defeating his rival John McEnroe in the final, 1–6, 7–5, 6–3, 6–7(16–18), 8–6 to win the Gentlemen's Singles tennis title at the 1980 Wimbledon Championships. This was his fifth consecutive singles title at the Championships.[1]
