1979–80 European Cup Winners' Cup

The 1979–80 season of the European Cup Winners' Cup was won on penalties by Valencia CF in a goalless final against Arsenal. It was the only Cup Winners' Cup to be decided in this way (although two previous finals had required replays), and it was Valencia's third European title after their two Inter-Cities Fairs Cup victories in the 1960s.
