1975 US Open – Women's Singles

After four consecutive semifinal finishes, Chris Evert defeated Evonne Goolagong 5–7, 6–4, 6–2 in the final to win the Women's Singles tennis title at the 1975 US Open. Reigning champion Billie Jean King did not defend her title.

gollark: As far as I know it's something like ~~0.5% efficiency~~ (correction: wikipedia says ~5%) and the main advantage of photosynthesis is just that it produces convenient storable chemical energy as output.
