The club won its second title in a row,[1] defeating Lazio[2] and Torino[3] in an exciting race[4]

After clinched the trophy came 1937 Mitropa Cup, defeating early by Austria Vienna,[5] and winning a friendly tournament in Paris defeating Chelsea in Final.[6]
