Żelazów, Masovian Voivodeship

Żelazów [ʐɛˈlazuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Korytnica, within Węgrów County in Masovian Voivodeship, east-central Poland.[1]

Geography

It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Korytnica, 10 km (6 mi) west of Węgrów, and 64 km (40 mi) east of Warsaw.

History

The village has been in the past a temporary location of the administrative district of Jaczew County (Polish: Gmina). In the years 1975-1998 Żelazów has been - by administrative division - part of the Siedlce Voivodeship.
