Old Woodscript
Old Woodscript was an ancient language which was used in the early days of Sanctaphrax, however, it may have been older than this. Because it was known as Old Woodscript, it is likely that there was a more modern version of the language simply known as Woodscript.
History
While the true age of the language is unknown, it was likely in use during the Second Age of Darkness. It was in use at the same time as the Ancient Tongue, however it appears to have fallen out of use in favour of this other script.
The only known example of the script was a barkscroll about the Gloamglozer, written in the early First Age of Flight. This barkscroll was translated by Linius Pallitax in 15 ᴇ.ʏ., who claimed it was sometimes tricky to read.[1]
Known words
