Menisculis

Menisculis was a nightwaif hired by Wind Jackal to warn of the presence of anyone with murderous thoughts while he and Quint visited the Sluice Tower. He discovered and killed a waif assassin hired by Turbot Smeal, saving Wind Jackal and Quint's lives. However, when a flood of water came through the Sluice Tower, Menisculis was swept away and over the Edge itself, plummeting into the void.[1]
