Friends of New Sanctaphrax

"We cannot let Quove Lentis control what we are or are not allowed to do. Descending must continue."

The Friends of New Sanctaphrax was an underground network of waifs, goblins, and fourthlings in the four cities of Great Glade, Gorgetown^[1], Riverrise, and Hive who were against Quove Lentis' views on descending. They kept trade and travellers flowing to and from Sanctaphrax by subsidizing skytavern routes that Quove Lentis was pressuring to stop. At times they were also able to countermand his requisitions or make his shipping orders mysteriously disappear. It was thanks to the Friends of New Sanctaphrax that the work of descending was able to continue despite Quove Lentis and his allies.^[2] They also pooled their resources to hire the services of the Tallow-hats for the Battle for New Sanctaphrax^[1].
