I don't like them because I think they should be taken OUT of the hands of the black and latino criminals and owned by the white people victimized by this criminal element.

That should tell you something.

It's actually a gathering place for loons of all sides to express their frothing hatred for their fellow man. Posts in the Politics section are generally divided into two categories:

  1. right-wingers blaming Barack Obama for everything wrong with the country, and
  2. left-wingers defending Obama for everything, including constitutionally dubious actions such as the NSA surveillance.

Right-wingers breaking the trend of irrational Obama-hatred are accused of being RINOs and deep-cover liberals; left-wingers who prefer not to idolise Obama and understand he has his faults are accused of being Obama-lovers anyway.

Perhaps the three most famous users on the site are Skunky, a kind-hearted skunk (although that may just be a character) who is well-liked by nearly everybody, as he prefers not to sling hatred at every opportunity and has a moderate political outlook; Mopeder, a hardcore liberal and Obama-lover who takes delight in pissing off the wingnuts on the site; and the notorious Defend Western Civlization [sic], a rabid wingnut who accuses everyone even remotely to the left of Rick Santorum of being a socialist and Obama voter (regardless of the person's actual political views) in horrendously typed garbage writing with abysmal spelling and grammar, yet is still respected by the wingnut population.

This website is also not free from the clutches of Conservapedia, where at least one administrator (Terry Hurlbut under username "Temlakos") is active. [2]

On June 3 2015, SodaHead.com blocked all its users from login into their accounts without any prior notice and some of the users of the website started their own websites named XSodaHeads.com and ihavesolved.com which acts as a bridge to connect the old members. [3][4]
