Background
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W730 is an affordable point-shoot camera in a long line of Cyber-shot models. This particular model was released January of 2013. It is one of two "W" models released that year. The W730 has a larger screen (720p) and more optical zoom than the W710, which was also released in 2013. The camera also comes with 16.1 megapixels and a 360 degree sweep panorama mode.
To identify which model you have, look above the LCD screen on the back where the camera lists the exact model name. This particular camera comes in three colors: magenta, purple, and silver.
The DSC-W730 has not had any recalls.
