Background

The MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011 Unibody was released in October 2011.

As with the model from earlier in 2011, the MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011 Unibody's case is composed of a single block of aluminum, following the same process of the MacBook Pro 17" Unibody.

The MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011 features a 2.2 GHz or 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 6 MB on-chip L3 cache or a 2.5 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 with 8 MB on-chip L3 cache. It sports the same 4 GB of RAM as the previous model and a 256 MB jump to the AMD Radeon HD 6750M / 6770M graphics processor with 512 MB GDDR5 memory.
