These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Also known as Dyson Cinetic and with the additions Allergy, Musclehead, Parquet, Animal, ... (this is the same basic device, but with a different set of accessories). But on the handle it always says DC52.

Dyson introduced the almost spherical housing with the DC37 (in other regions DC36, DC38, DC39). The biggest difference is that the DC37 has only one row of cyclones and a washable pre-filter in the cyclone section. The construction of the ball housing with motor, post-motor filter, and cable reel is very similar, so the instructions should apply to a DC37 as well. However, the replacement parts are not necessarily the same.
Equipped with double row cyclone and the ball housing but one more filter is the DC46, DC47, DC48, DC49 series. Instructions for the DC47 can be found in the English ifixit: Dyson Cinetic Animal
The DC54 is the English version of the DC52, and there is also an identical DC78.
The successor model is the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball. Here the cyclone unit is half in the ball, the interior is completely different.
