Saving Throws Con +7, Wis +1 False Appearance. While the stone hinox remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a pile of rocks. Magic Weapons. The stone hinox's weapon attacks are magical. ACTIONSMultiattack. The hinox makes two melee attacks. It can replace any attack it makes with a grapple or its Throw action. Punch. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 7) bludgeoning damage. Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 29 (4d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage. Throw. The stone hinox throws a Medium or smaller creature it is grappling a distance of up to 60 feet, or a height of up to 40 feet. If thrown into a wall or other solid surface, the thrown creature takes 14 (4d6) bludgeoning damage from the impact. If thrown upwards and allowed to fall, the creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it falls. Quake (Recharge 5-6). The stone hinox slams and shakes the ground beneath it. Every creature within 120 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (4d6) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. If a creature is more than 60 feet away from the stone hinox, it has advantage on this saving throw.

When vile researchers seek to create an artificial servant, there are few bases more formidable than that of the hinox. This creature emulates the strength and power of the legendary giant. It generally has no purpose in life other than obeying its master, and destroying all that would oppose it in the most violent of ways. Constructed Nature. A stone hinox doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep. |
